This study, conducted by independent research firm Edelman Intelligence, surveyed 6,000 American workers to analyze the size of the growing independent economy and the important role that the self-employed play in the future of work.
In fact, based on this year’s findings, the majority of the US workforce is predicted to be self-employed within a decade (by 2027).
